A free arm takes the next waiting order on its own. Switch an arm off or plug in another one at any time, the queue and the software stay the same. Baskets are emptied by hand, the arm does not wait for it.
Timings are estimates until measured on real hardware: 12 s per pick for the desktop arm, 6 s for a cobot, 3 s for an industrial arm, plus a few seconds for the camera check. Orders per hour is extrapolated from the simulated clock.
